The Symposia on Mathematical Techniques Applied to Data Analysis and Processing (SMATAD) will take place in Fuengirola (Málaga, Spain).

Fuengirola is a village in the southern Mediterranean coast of Spain, to the west of Málaga at about 25 km from the airport. The climate in Fuengirola is warm, and the average temperature in May is 15º, ranging from 13º (average minimum) and 25º (average maximum).
A number of rooms have been blocked for the attendants to the conference,

Despite of being the most economical choice, it is a suitable way to reach the hotel venue. There is one train station inside the airport terminal and the only line you can get there (the C-1) connects directly the airport with Fuengirola. The frequency of trains is 20 minutes, the price is around 3 euros and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. The closest stop to the hotel venue is "Los Boliches" and it takes less than 5 minutes to reach the hotel by walking.
The fastest and easiest transportation from the airport to the venue is to take a taxi. The taxi stop is just in front of the arrival terminal and prices range 35-45€.
Using a shuttle service, in many cases, is the best choice, with prices from 12€ (sharing the shuttle) and a journey time of about 25 minutes. The web addresses of some companies are shown below:
