By bus
The most economic way (less than 10€) to get to Nerja is by bus, although it may well involve a total journey time of around two hours. The first part is getting from Málaga airport to Málaga Main Bus Station.
- The A(irport) Express bus leaves from the T3 arrivals area and currently costs 3€. There is one bus every 20 to 30 minutes from 06:25 until 23:30 (to the airport) or 07:00 until 24:00 (from the airport) . The journey time is 20 to 30 minutes.
- Alternatively, you can take the train from the airport to the María Zambrano Railway Station in Málaga (which is adjacent to the Main Bus Station). The suburban train station forms part of the Terminal T3 building. The price is about 2€ one way. The timetables can be consulted at RENFE.
By private shuttle service
Using a shuttle service, in many cases, is the best choice, with prices from 25€ (sharing the shuttle) and a journey time of about 45 minutes. The web addresses of some companies are shown below:http://www.shuttledirect.com
